Please read before booking a Breathwork session!
It is always recommended to consult a healthcare professional before practicing if you have any doubts.
Medical contraindications:

Cardiovascular issues (uncontrolled hypertension, history of stroke, heart arrhythmia, heart failure, etc.)

Epilepsy or history of seizures

Glaucoma or retinal detachment

Severe uncontrolled asthma (unless medically approved and with an inhaler on hand)

History of aneurysm (cerebral or aortic)

Severe chronic respiratory diseases (COPD, pulmonary fibrosis, etc.)

History of head trauma or recent head injuries

Recent surgery (especially abdominal, thoracic, or brain surgery)
Psychological contraindications:

Severe psychiatric disorders (schizophrenia, unstable bipolar disorder, psychosis)

History of severe trauma not currently supported (breathwork may bring up intense emotions requiring a therapeutic framework)

Individuals on heavy psychotropic medication (antidepressants, anxiolytics, neuroleptics, etc.)
Other contraindications:

Pregnancy (especially after the first trimester)

Individuals prone to severe panic attacks (breathwork may temporarily amplify anxiety)
-
Chronic hyperventilation tendencies (risk of dizziness, muscle spasms, or loss of control)
